Most of you are familiar with Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey as a Saturday Night Live skit but most of you do not know that Jack Handey is actually a real person.  He is a humorist and writer.  What you can learn from his piece Deep Thoughts is be sure you sign your work with a name.

Its been almost 20 years since Deep Thoughts first aired on Saturday Night Live and I still remember his name.  Claiming your work is the least you can do to build your brand and it’s effective.
